A four-member delegation of Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association (BOTOA), led by its President Syed Ghulam Mohammed, paid a courtesy call on the Honorary Consul of the Uruguay in Bangladesh, Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, at the Uruguay Consulate Office located at Dragon Tower.

During the meeting, the BOTOA delegation emphasized the importance of simplifying visa procedures for Bangladeshi travelers intending to visit Uruguay for tourism purposes. The Honorary Consul assured the delegation of his full support in facilitating a more streamlined and efficient visa process for Bangladeshi tourists in the future. He also expressed his commitment to extending comprehensive cooperation to foster a more business-friendly environment within the tour and travel sector.

It was highlighted that Mr. Mostafa Sobhan also serves as the Vice President of the Indonesia-Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Both parties discussed the potential for future collaboration between IBCCI and BOTOA to enhance tourism opportunities and overall travel facilitation for Bangladeshi tourists.

The BOTOA delegation further included Senior Vice President Md Mohosin Iqbal, Vice President AKM Kamruzzaman, and Director (Finance) Nafees Ahsan Chowdhury.
